Kuwait – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense has announced the opening of military recruitment to women. This step aims to expand the national workforce and enhance the capabilities of the armed forces. It comes as part of plans to develop the defense system and improve the efficiency of human resources.
The Ministry clarified that applications will be accepted according to specific regulations and conditions. These conditions include academic qualifications, physical fitness, and health requirements. In addition, applicants must pass entrance exams, personal interviews, and completed approved training programs.
The Ministry of Defense affirmed that this step comes within the framework of the Armed Forces’ modernization strategy and aims to utilize the expertise of Saudi women in a number of military, administrative, and technical specializations. The Ministry added that the accepted female volunteers will undergo specialized training and qualification programs according to the highest military standards.
