Tel Aviv, Israel – In a strongly worded warning, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted on Sunday that the Israeli Air Force now possesses the full and absolute capability to penetrate Iranian airspace and reach any target within the Islamic Republic. He also emphasized that his forces are on high alert to carry out any new offensive missions should the need arise.
In a speech today, Netanyahu revealed the strengthening of Israel’s air force through the completion of strategic military deals. He stated, “We have acquired two additional squadrons of the world’s most advanced fighter jets, the F-35 and F-15.” He asserted that these enhancements are intended to ensure Israel’s qualitative military edge in the region for decades to come.
Netanyahu added that Israeli pilots have undergone intensive training to deal with long-range threats. He also asserted: “Our pilots are capable of reaching any point in Iranian airspace, and they are ready to act at any moment the security situation demands it to defend our country.”
The Israeli Prime Minister stated that “these aircraft are not merely military equipment, but rather a reinforcement of our overwhelming air superiority, which we have already demonstrated during previous operations targeting deep inside Iran.” This was a reference to the airstrikes that targeted military sites and defense facilities inside Iran in recent months.
Netanyahu’s remarks come at a time of escalating geopolitical tensions in the region. By showcasing its “air superiority,” Israel seeks to send a clear message of deterrence to Tehran and its allies. The message is that geographical distance is no longer an obstacle to the long reach of the Israeli Air Force.
