Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The production company has decided to release “Aks Sir” in Saudi Arabian cinemas during the summer of 2026, making it one of the most anticipated films, given the recent surge in the Saudi film industry.
Official support and early promotion
As its release date approaches, Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, shared behind-the-scenes photos of the film via his official Instagram account, indicating that the work comes with support and a production partnership, and confirming that it is a comedy action film that will be shown during the summer of this year.
Stars who share a comedic nature
The film features a diverse cast of stars, combining experienced actors with young talents. It stars Abdulaziz Al-Shehri, Muayyad Al-Nafie, Abdulmajid Al-Kanani, Fatoun Al-Jarallah, Muhannad Al-Saleh, Asma Al-Sayari, along with Hassan Al-Abdi, Fawz Abdullah, Mishari Al-Ajaji, and newcomers Shannar Al-Dosari and Abdulrahman Al-Jadaan.

The film reflects a remarkable development in the level of film production, as it was filmed entirely within the city of Riyadh, with the use of diverse filming locations that contributed to providing integrated dramatic environments that serve the events of the work.

The crew finished filming last October and then moved on to the editing and post-production phase, in preparation for its theatrical release. The film is a co-production between Safaa Abu Rizk and Mohamed El Turki, aiming to deliver a modern cinematic experience that will compete on both regional and international levels.
