Nagano, Japan – Approximately 400 people were stranded in Nagano Prefecture, central Japan,
after a landslide blocked a major road, isolating a mountainous area with several tourist attractions.
The landslide occurred in the Azumino area, closing the road leading to the Nakabusa Onsen area.
As a result, hundreds of people were unable to leave the area normally.

Local authorities reported that those trapped, including tourists, resort guests, and climbers, were unharmed by the landslide.
