Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid achieved a 2-0 victory over Real Oviedo in the match that took place on Thursday evening, as part of the 36th round of the Spanish League.
Real Madrid dominated the match from the opening minutes, clearly determined to secure an early victory. This was despite manager Álvaro Arbeloa’s changes to the starting lineup, most notably leaving Jude Bellingham on the bench at the start of the game.
Despite repeated attempts, Real Madrid needed until the 44th minute to break through Oviedo’s defensive block, after Gonzalo Garcia succeeded in scoring the first goal with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area.
