The Hague, Netherlands – The 33rd edition of the UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses continues on Sunday. By setting up the seventh stop on the Dundokht Grass Track in The Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands. In a new milestone in the global cup activity agenda, which enjoys the support of the UAE leadership. With the aim of enhancing the status of purebred Arabian horses, and encouraging owners and breeders to acquire and raise them. Preserving his ancient legacy and consolidating his presence on the most prominent international tracks.

The race, which is held over a distance of 2,150 meters on grass as part of the third category races designated for purebred Arabian horses aged 4 years and above, will witness the participation of 11 horses representing the elite marinas and stables in the Netherlands and Europe. The competitions will start at 3:00 pm Hague time.

“Al-Zir”.. The most prominent candidate

All eyes are on the horse “Al-Zeer”, owned by Omar Ismail Ghargar, under the supervision of coach François Roho, and led by jockey Adel Al-Qaydi. After winning the Belgian station’s cup title in 2025, and finishing runner-up in the Netherlands station during the same season. In addition to taking third place in the Italian station in the current edition.

Also notable is “Farida B,” owned and trained by Peter Dekkers, and led by jockey Quinn Clemens. After winning the title of Netherlands Station in 2024, and Sweden Station in the 2025 edition. In addition to her third appearance at the Swedish station during the current season.

The race also witnesses the participation of the UAE representative, the horse “Maqbool”, who returned to Yas to manage horse races. Under the supervision of coach Xavier Thomas Demault, and led by jockey Leo Paul Prechet.

Netherlands.. Distinctive position

The list of participants also includes: “El Paso T”, “Riffa”, “Joe Star”, “Zarca DA”, “Love Me de la Serre”, and “Mahdi de Bruel”. Farouk Al Shahaniya and Babylon T, in a race expected to witness strong competition until the last meters.

The Netherlands station enjoys a special place in the cup record, after witnessing the crowning of a number of the most prominent champion horses. They are: “Jalmar” (2017), “Lightning Bolt” (2018), “Khair Al-Sham” (2019), “Jarf” (2021 and 2022), and “Messi” (2023). “Farida B” (2024), and “Afjan” (2025).
