Vienna – Strengthening its tech stronghold in Europe, Google has officially broken ground on its first data center in Austria, located in Upper Austria. Obviously, by May 2026, the company is racing to meet the “insane” demand for cloud computing and AI solutions. The project covers a massive 50 hectares with a powerful operational capacity of 150MW, positioning Austria as a strategic new hub in the global digital infrastructure map.
