Manama, Bahrain – Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani affirmed that the recent attacks against the Kingdom are a continuation of a series of Iranian aggressions targeting Bahrain over the past years.

He also stressed that these actions constitute a violation of the Kingdom’s security and stability.

Bahraini confirmation of continued attacks

The Foreign Minister explained that the recent attacks cannot be separated from a long history of Iranian interference and violations.

He also considered them part of an ongoing pattern that threatens Bahrain’s security and sovereignty.

He noted that the Kingdom is following these developments closely and is addressing them in

a manner that safeguards its national security and preserves its stability.

A firm stance towards the security of the Kingdom

The Foreign Minister stressed Bahrain’s commitment to protecting its security and stability.

He affirmed that the Kingdom will continue to take all necessary measures,

in coordination with its partners and allies, to counter any threats targeting its security or territorial integrity.

He added that Manama believes in the importance of respecting

the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in the internal affairs of states.

This is considered fundamental to the stability of the region.

A call to strengthen regional security

The Foreign Minister stressed the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to maintain the security of the Gulf region.

He also pointed out that escalation and attacks do not serve the security of the region and do not contribute to achieving stability.

He pointed out that Bahrain will continue to work with its partners to support regional security

and consolidate the principles of respect for sovereignty and international law.

This contributes to enhancing stability and avoiding further tensions in the region.
