Manama, Bahrain – The United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait affirmed their full support for the measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect its security and stability. Both countries described these measures as necessary to counter any threats to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.
In an official statement, the UAE emphasized its solidarity with Bahrain in all steps it takes to maintain its internal security. Furthermore, it reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and its rejection of any attempts to destabilize the region.
For its part, Kuwait expressed its support for Bahrain’s measures, emphasizing the importance of strengthening joint Gulf action and continuous coordination to confront security challenges and maintain the security and stability of member states.
Both statements indicated that the security of the Gulf states is indivisible, and that any threat to one member state affects the others. This necessitates a unified stance in the face of crises and challenges.
This support comes at a time of escalating tensions in the region. Therefore, this compels the Gulf states to intensify security and political coordination to ensure their stability and protect their vital interests.
