El Arish, Egypt – The UAE Floating Hospital in the city of El Arish in the Arab Republic of Egypt continues to implement the “Step of Hope” program, as part of Operation “The Chivalrous Knight 3.” Artificial limbs were provided to 21 Palestinian amputees. Bringing the total number of beneficiaries of the program to 72 people, as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support our Palestinian brothers.
The new phase included conducting the necessary medical and technical assessments and taking accurate measurements of beneficiaries. The stages of detailing, manufacturing and installing prosthetic limbs are currently continuing to suit the needs of each case. In addition to motor rehabilitation and physical therapy programs.

“A step of hope”
This comes within an integrated system provided by the “Step of Hope” program, which includes medical evaluation, manufacturing, detailing and installation of prosthetic limbs. In addition to physical therapy sessions, motor rehabilitation, and medical follow-up. Which contributes to enabling beneficiaries to regain their ability to move and live their daily lives better.
