Amman, Jordan – The Jordanian government has launched a comprehensive plan to develop the energy sector, aiming to expand the use of natural gas and boost investment in green hydrogen projects. This move comes as part of efforts to achieve energy security and reduce reliance on costly traditional energy sources.
According to officials, the plan includes upgrading gas infrastructure and increasing import and storage capacities. It also seeks to encourage the private sector to invest in green hydrogen production projects, which are considered one of the most important clean energy sources of the future.
