Berlin, Germany – The pilot of a small plane was killed today when it crashed minutes after takeoff in Germany, in a sudden air accident that prompted a large-scale mobilization of emergency services and relevant authorities.
According to initial reports, the plane lost contact with air traffic control shortly after takeoff, before crashing in a relatively unpopulated area. The aircraft burst into flames, and the pilot was killed instantly. No other injuries were reported on the ground.
