Amman, Jordan – Young Jordanian artist Al-Silawi announced his complete retirement from singing, confirming his decision to withdraw entirely from the art scene and television screens in order to dedicate himself to his personal life and fulfill his religious and family obligations. Al-Silawi explained that he is still bound by a number of documented artistic contracts, in addition to having remaining works that he wishes to release out of respect for his artistic and public commitments, noting that he has 18 works that will be released in two albums during the coming period.
