Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, made a phone call to the President of Venezuela, offering his sincere condolences and deepest sympathies for the victims of the earthquake that struck the country, resulting in numerous deaths, injuries, and widespread material damage.
During the call, the UAE President affirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with Venezuela and its people during this difficult humanitarian crisis. He also expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured and expressed his confidence that rescue and relief teams would be able to contain the effects of the disaster as quickly as possible.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also emphasized the UAE’s solidarity with Venezuela in facing the aftermath of the earthquake. This stems from the UAE’s humanitarian approach to supporting countries and peoples affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
For her part, the Venezuelan president expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for his sincere sentiments and the UAE’s supportive stance. She affirmed that this humanitarian gesture reflects the depth of bilateral relations and the spirit of solidarity between the two countries in times of hardship.
