Kuwait – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continuation of Iranian aggression, at a time when regional and international efforts are underway to de-escalate tensions and promote calm, represents a challenge to the international will. It also undermines efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability in the region.
In a statement, the Ministry explained that these aggressions contribute to increased regional tension and obstruct diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving crises through dialogue and peaceful means. It also stressed the importance of adhering to the rules of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, respecting the sovereignty of states, and refraining from interfering in their internal affairs.
Kuwait reiterated its call for restraint and prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions, emphasizing that continued escalation threatens regional security and the safety of international navigation. This also negatively impacts the international community’s efforts to achieve security and stability.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs also affirmed its support for all international and regional initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and creating a conducive environment for dialogue. This contributes to strengthening regional security and peace and prevents further escalation and crises in the region.
