Abu Dhabi, UAE – UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Ghana President John Dramani Mahama on the sidelines of the “Make in the UAE 2026”
event held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
The two leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation between their countries.
Economic and development cooperation
The two sides discussed opportunities to develop cooperation in various fields, particularly economic, trade, and investment sectors.
They also discussed cooperation in renewable energy, technology, and artificial intelligence.
This aims to strengthen shared development priorities and support sustainable growth in both countries.

Promising future partnerships
Both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to capitalize
on available opportunities and build long-term development partnerships.
This contributes to progress and prosperity and strengthens the shared interests of both nations.
Discussion of regional developments
The meeting also addressed a number of regional and international issues of common interest,
most notably developments in the Middle East.
The President of Ghana reiterated his condemnation of attacks targeting civilians, facilities, and infrastructure.
He also affirmed his country’s rejection of any practices that violate the sovereignty of states and undermine regional stability.
