Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, visited the fifth edition of the “Made in the UAE 2026” platform.
The event was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
There, he was briefed on the latest technologies, products, and initiatives
aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of national industry.
Supporting the competitiveness of national products
During his tour, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed reviewed a number of high-quality projects and initiatives
aimed at enhancing the efficiency of local products and strengthening their market presence.
In addition, modern technology has been employed to develop the production system and open new horizons for national industries.

Industry is a strategic priority
He affirmed that the industrial sector is a cornerstone of supporting and diversifying the national economy.
He also emphasized that developing this sector is among the state’s top priorities,
stemming from a vision aimed at empowering national industries and creating
an attractive environment for investment and innovation in future-oriented industries.

He commended the level of participation in the platform, which reflects the rapid development of the industrial sector in the UAE
and its competitive advantages. He also highlighted the sector’s role in providing quality opportunities for Emirati talent.
At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed met with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
They discussed the importance of continuing to develop the industrial sector
and enhancing its contribution to supporting the national economy.
