Beirut, Lebanon – Star George Wassouf has released his latest song, “Tammenni ‘al-Habayeb,” on YouTube and various music platforms, marking his return to the music scene after a hiatus of nearly two years—a release eagerly awaited by his fans.

The song evokes a romantic atmosphere and carries an emotional tone characteristic of the musical style for which George Wassouf is renowned, offering a musical experience that blends heartfelt lyrics with an Oriental melody.

The song features lyrics by Ahmed Sheta, music by Salah El-Sharnouby, and arrangement by Rami El-Sharnouby; Elie Barbar handled the mixing and mastering, while Dan Haddad directed the music video.

The music video marks the first artistic collaboration between George Wassouf and director Dan Haddad, who opted for a distinctive cinematic approach—eschewing artificial intelligence techniques in favor of a visual style that evokes the atmosphere of a bygone golden era.

A love story on a train

The music video was filmed aboard a train, tracing a love story between a young man and a woman throughout the journey. It features a series of romantic scenes inspired by the spirit of a bygone era, perfectly complementing the song’s atmosphere and lyrics.

The production team sought to create a cinematic visual style, lending the song a unique atmosphere that blends music, drama, and romance.

George Wassouf’s upcoming concerts

George Wassouf is preparing to perform two concerts in Lebanon during August and September, as part of his upcoming artistic activities.

His upcoming tour also includes a series of concerts in London, Australia, Iraq, and Jordan, allowing him to continue connecting with audiences across various Arab and international locations, coinciding with the release of his latest musical works.
