Dubai, United Arab Emirates — Dubai authorities reported that debris from an aerial interception operation caused a fire at a berth in Jebel Ali Port. They confirmed that no injuries were reported. Additionally, they indicated that Dubai Civil Defence teams immediately began responding to the fire. The teams are continuing their efforts to extinguish it.

The relevant authorities called on the public to refrain from sharing the videos circulating about the Jebel Ali port fire on July 7, 2021. This is because sharing these videos may lead to the dissemination of inaccurate information and images about the incident. Furthermore, they stressed that they will provide the public with more reliable details as soon as they become available.
