Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Financial Market closed Thursday’s trading, up by 0.237%, or 13.73 points, at 5,799.04 points. Supported by the rise in shares of three sectors: banking, public utilities, and telecommunications.
Dubai Financial’s market capitalization rose to AED 959.91 billion at the end of a session on Thursday. Compared to about 954.75 billion dirhams at the end of trading on Wednesday, with gains amounting to about 5.16 billion dirhams.
The listed stocks attracted liquidity exceeding AED 378.58 million. After trading approximately 87.23 million shares and executing 11,845 transactions.
During trading, citizen investors tended to buy, with a net investment of approximately AED 18.7 million. After recording purchases worth more than AED 173.68 million, compared to sales worth AED 154.98 million.
It acquired shares of six companies listed on Dubai Financial». They are: Emaar Properties and Emirates Integrated Telecommunications – DO. Emirates NBD, Dubai Islamic, Talabat and Dubai Taxi accounted for 74.44% of the market’s liquidity at the end of trading yesterday.
According to market data, the total trading value of the six shares amounted to approximately AED 281.82 million. While the total trading value in the Dubai Financial Market as a whole amounted to approximately AED 378.58 million.
