Zagreb, Croatia – Zlatko Dalic, the coach of the Croatian national team, revealed the final squad that will compete in the 2026 World Cup. The tournament will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
Only a few days remain until the start of the first World Cup to feature 48 teams. This has been accompanied by high hopes for the Croatian national team to continue its impressive performances on the world stage.
The Croatian national team will compete in the tournament in Group Twelve, alongside the national teams of England, Ghana and Panama.
The squad also included veteran captain Luka Modric, confirming his fifth World Cup appearance, following his participation in the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 editions.
The Croatian star continues to make history with his national team, having become one of the most prominent players to have represented Croatia in the World Cup finals. He is also drawing on his vast experience to lead the team in a new challenge on the international stage.
