Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Ministry of Defense announced in an urgent statement today that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed a new wave of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones launched towards the country’s territory. The Ministry confirmed that these threats were dealt with with high combat efficiency, resulting in no significant material damage.

Debris falls in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

The ministry revealed that successful interception operations resulted in debris falling in various areas of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ministry reassured the public that no injuries were reported at any of the sites where debris fell. It confirmed that the situation is completely under control.

Maximum readiness and the legitimate right to respond

The Ministry of Defense emphasized its full readiness and preparedness to deal with any threats. It also indicated that all necessary measures have been taken to firmly counter anything that aims to undermine the security and stability of the nation. In its statement, the Ministry said, “The safety of citizens, residents, and visitors is a paramount priority that cannot be compromised.” The Ministry also considered this attack a “flagrant violation of national sovereignty and international law,” affirming that the UAE reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to protect its territory and citizens. It stressed that this guarantees the preservation of its sovereignty and national security.

Invitation to the public to gather information

In closing, the Ministry of Defense urged the public to obtain information only from official state sources. It also called for avoiding the spread of rumors or unreliable information that could affect public confidence under the current circumstances.
