Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait discussed joint efforts to maintain security and stability in the region. This came during official talks that addressed the latest regional developments and ways to enhance coordination and cooperation between the two countries in confronting current challenges.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation on issues of common interest, thereby contributing to supporting regional security and stability. This also strengthens diplomatic efforts aimed at containing tensions and maintaining regional peace.
The talks also emphasized the need to support political solutions and dialogue to address crises, while stressing respect for the sovereignty of states and adherence to the principles of international law. This will lead to security and stability and prevent further escalation in the region.
These discussions come within the framework of ongoing coordination between Riyadh and Kuwait on Gulf and regional issues. Furthermore, they underscore the two countries’ commitment to unifying their positions on rapidly evolving developments, thereby strengthening the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and preserving regional stability.
