Amman, Jordan – In a move to coordinate Arab positions regarding the rapidly accelerating security developments in the region, the foreign ministers of Jordan and Kuwait held an intensive phone call, during which they affirmed the absolute solidarity between the two countries in the face of Iranian attacks. The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening joint coordination and continuous consultation to deal with the security repercussions resulting from the current regional escalation, in a manner that preserves the security and stability of Arab nations.

Unified Stance: Solidarity and Joint Coordination

During the call, the ministers discussed the latest regional developments, affirming that Jordan and Kuwait stand side-by-side in confronting the Iranian attacks that have targeted the territories of several Arab countries. Both sides indicated that strengthening cooperation between the two countries is a strategic necessity at the current stage, not only to protect their national security but to ensure the stability of the entire region in the face of ongoing challenges.

Categorical Rejection of Violations and Protection of Sovereignty

In a joint stance, the ministers emphasized their categorical rejection of all Iranian attacks, viewing them as a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security. The two sides affirmed the necessity of adhering to international law and refraining from taking any steps that could expand the scope of conflict or endanger the lives of civilians and vital infrastructure, calling for prioritizing reason and wisdom.

The foreign ministers stressed the importance of intensifying regional and international diplomatic efforts to contain the current crisis. Both sides affirmed the necessity of joint work to de-escalate and restore calm, with consultation channels remaining open between the two countries to monitor various regional developments and avoid the region sliding into wider confrontations that would further complicate the security landscape.
