Kuwait City, Kuwait – Kuwait has expressed its vehement condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Characterizing the strikes as sinful assaults, Kuwait emphasized that they constitute a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and a direct threat to regional peace and stability, while reaffirming its absolute solidarity with the sisterly nations in safeguarding their territorial integrity.

Unwavering Gulf and Arab Solidarity

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Kuwait stands firmly alongside Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan, pledging full support for all defensive and security measures implemented by these nations to protect their borders. The Ministry underscored that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and broader Arab national security represents an indivisible and collective responsibility, warning that the continuation of such hostilities will inevitably aggravate regional tensions.

Warnings Against a Dangerous Regional Slide

Kuwaiti diplomacy pointed out that the recent escalation carries severe risks that could push the Middle East into a highly volatile security landscape. It called for maximum restraint and urged the avoidance of steps that could widen the conflict or compromise maritime navigation, civilians, and vital installations. Furthermore, Kuwait appealed to the international community to assume its responsibilities in stopping violations against sovereign states and to reinforce diplomatic tracks based on international law and the UN Charter.
