Berlin, Germany – A German military expert has called for increased pressure on Russia through intensified strikes targeting Crimea and Kaliningrad. He argued that expanding the scope of military pressure could limit Moscow’s ability to continue its operations in Ukraine.

The expert explained that Crimea is a crucial logistical and military hub for Russian forces. Kaliningrad, on the other hand, is a strategic point on the Baltic Sea. He also noted that targeting military infrastructure in these two regions could pose additional challenges for the Russian leadership.

He added that any such move would require extensive coordination between Ukraine and its Western allies. The risks associated with widening the conflict, and the potential security and military repercussions for Europe, must be taken into account.

These statements come at a time of continued escalation in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Western military support for Kyiv continues, and discussions are growing within European circles about how to exert more pressure on Moscow to change course in the war.
