Enhancing Joint Cooperation to Ensure Maritime Security
An Iranian official explained that the discussions will focus primarily on ways to enhance cooperation in managing maritime traffic and ensuring the safety of commercial vessels transiting the strait.
The talks also aim to maintain the security and stability of the maritime corridor in a way that serves the vital interests of regional countries and supports international trade in a safe and stable manner.
The Iranian side emphasized that Tehran considers the Sultanate of Oman an important regional partner, noting that continuous coordination effectively contributes to supporting navigation security and reducing tensions in the region.
Strategic Importance of the Strait and International Repercussions
