Beirut, Lebanon – Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji affirmed that the framework agreement reached represents a victory for a diplomatic solution.
He added that it reflects the prioritization of the state and its institutions above all else.
He described this step as laying the foundation for a new phase of stability and strengthening state authority.

The Foreign Minister explained that the agreement reflects the success of the diplomatic track in addressing outstanding issues.
He emphasized that dialogue and negotiation formed the basis for reaching
this understanding, achieved without resorting to military escalation.
He noted that the agreement embodies the priority of Lebanese state institutions in managing sovereign matters.
It also underscores the importance of the state’s monopoly on national decision-making.
This strengthens stability and safeguards Lebanon’s supreme interests.
A new phase of stability
The Foreign Minister added that the next phase requires working to implement
the agreement’s provisions in a way that contributes to strengthening security and stability.
It also paves the way for the state to regain its full role and consolidate its sovereignty over all its territories.
He expressed his hope that the agreement would mark the beginning of a long path to peace and stability in the region.
