Doha – The State of Qatar condemned the drone attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, describing them as a blatant violation of international law.
It also affirmed its rejection of any actions that threaten the security and stability of nations.
Official condemnation of the attacks
In an official statement, Qatar condemned the Iranian attacks on Bahrain.
It asserted that targeting a sovereign state with drones constitutes a clear violation of
international law and contravenes the principles governing relations between states.
Confirmation of Bahrain’s support
Qatar emphasized its full solidarity with Bahrain in the face of threats to its security and stability.
It also affirmed its support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security, territorial integrity, and citizens.
Call for de-escalation
Qatar reiterated its call for avoiding escalation in the region and committing to dialogue and diplomatic means to resolve disputes.
This would contribute to strengthening regional security and stability and safeguarding the security of the region’s countries and their people.
