Al-Arish, Egypt – The Emirati floating hospital in Al-Arish, Egypt, as part of the “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” performed four complex surgeries on patients from the Gaza Strip. This is part of its ongoing medical and humanitarian efforts. In this way, the hospital provides specialized medical care to the Palestinian people.
Surgical operations varied between stabilizing and treating complex fractures in the thigh, leg, and hip bones. They also involved reconstructing the bones using bone grafting. In addition to installing specialized external fixation devices, surgical interventions are performed to treat complications resulting from previous injuries and fractures.
Integrated treatment plans
The medical team confirmed that the operations were successful. Meanwhile, patients continue to receive the necessary medical and therapeutic care and follow-up within the hospital. This occurs according to integrated treatment plans aimed at accelerating recovery, improving quality of life, and restoring mobility.
