New York, USA – US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz, confirmed that US President Donald Trump remains committed to signing the initial framework agreement for a peace deal with Iran today.

This indicates the continuation of diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching an understanding between the two sides.

American adherence to the agreement

The US ambassador explained that the Trump administration is continuing to work toward finalizing the preliminary agreement.

This comes despite ongoing consultations on several issues related to the understanding between Washington and Tehran.

He added that the US president views the agreement as an important step toward de-escalating regional tensions.

He also sees it as opening the door to a new phase of negotiations between the two sides.

These statements come at a time of rapidly evolving diplomatic efforts involving regional and international parties.

They also come amid reports of nearing preliminary understandings regarding ending the escalation and restoring stability to the region.

Stay tuned for the official announcement

The US and Iran continue to discuss a number of outstanding issues through direct

and indirect channels within the framework of the proposed understanding.

This framework aims to pave the way for more comprehensive talks in the coming period.

There is a sense of anticipation in political and diplomatic circles regarding the possibility of an agreement being announced in the coming hours.

This anticipation is heightened by the increasing number of statements issued

by American and Iranian officials about the progress made in the negotiations.

Observers believe that reaching a preliminary framework could represent

a significant turning point in the course of relations between Washington and Tehran.

Furthermore, it opens the door to addressing regional and international issues

that have been points of contention between the two sides for years.
