Kuwait – Kuwait Airways has announced it is working to gradually increase the number of its flights according to a phased operational plan that accounts for current regional security and logistical requirements. The national carrier emphasized that these measures are designed to ensure the highest safety standards for passengers and crew members, supported by constant monitoring of airspace developments and air traffic movements in the region.
Rescheduling for Operational Efficiency
Kuwait Airways clarified that the rescheduling of certain flights does not imply a total cancellation of travel but is rather an organizational procedure to manage operations flexibly in response to current circumstances. The airline noted that its operational teams are in continuous coordination with relevant authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow, committing to updating flight schedules and notifying passengers of any changes via official channels.
Flexibility and Options for Passengers
In a move to safeguard customer rights, the company explained that passengers affected by the rescheduling can take advantage of several flexible options. These include a “Full Ticket Refund” or retaining the value as “E-Wallet Credit” for future use. These facilities are intended to mitigate the impact of temporary operational adjustments and provide alternatives that suit passenger needs.
Priority of Safety and Security
Kuwait Airways stressed that passenger safety remains its “top priority” in all operational decision-making. The airline confirmed it will continue to closely monitor technical and security conditions to take necessary actions that guarantee safe and organized operations, working toward a full return to normal flight schedules as field conditions permit.
