“A United Front”: European Parliament Supports GCC Against External Aggressions

The European Parliamentary delegation, led by Reinhold Lopatka, expressed full support for the GCC countries in facing security challenges, specifically regarding recent regional escalations. Accordingly, the European side emphasized the necessity of continued coordination and consultation with Gulf capitals to ensure collective security and protect maritime and economic corridors. Clearly, the European continent views GCC nations as “reliable partners” indispensable to the equation of regional and international stability.

“Development Horizons”: A Gulf Plan to Expand International Partnerships

For his part, Al-Budaiwi stressed that GCC countries are moving forward in strengthening ties with international partners to achieve sustainable prosperity. As a result, the Secretary-General views the European delegation’s visit as a pivotal step toward opening new cooperation files involving innovation, energy, and comprehensive development. Amidst this positive atmosphere, it appears the coming period will witness significant momentum in GCC-European relations, bolstering the region’s status as a global political and economic heavyweight.
