Gaza, Palestine – The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, officially announced on Monday the martyrdom of its spokesman, Hudhaifa al-Kahlout, known as “Abu Ubaida”, and its chief of staff, Muhammad Sinwar.
In addition to the commander of the Rafah Brigade, Muhammad Shabana, the head of
the military manufacturing department in the movement, Raed Saad, and Abu Omar al-Suri.
In a video posted on “Telegram”, the movement broadcast pictures of the martyred leaders, including pictures of Hudhaifa Al-Kahlout.

Abu Ubaida’s successor also appeared in a video message that lasted more than 21 minutes,
saying that “Abu Ubaida did not abandon his people in the darkest of circumstances and addressed them from the heart of the battle.”
The new spokesman also announced that Mohammed Sinwar was martyred along with Mohammed Shabana.
He pointed out that Mohammed Sinwar led Al-Qassam during a very difficult period, succeeding Mohammed Deif.
The spokesman for the Qassam Brigades called on the mediators to compel Israel to implement all the terms of the ceasefire in Gaza.
Last May, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed that all indications pointed to the death of Mohammed Sinwar.
Meanwhile, press sources revealed that the body of Sinwar’s brother and 10 of his
aides were found inside a tunnel in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

She also clarified that the martyrdom of the commander of the Khan Younis Brigade (Mohammed Sinwar),
who leads the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has been confirmed.

She noted that Mohammed Shabana, the commander of the Rafah Brigade, was also killed in the Israeli raids along with Sinwar.
