Seoul – South Korean Industry Minister Kim Jong-kwon announced that Seoul and Washington have signed a new memorandum of understanding
aimed at injecting investments estimated at $350 million
as part of a joint trade agreement between the two countries.
The memorandum focuses on strengthening industrial partnerships
and supporting advanced technologies and vital supply chains.
Especially in the fields of electronics and renewable energy.
The minister stressed that the memorandum of understanding represents
an important step towards deepening economic cooperation
between South Korea and the United States.
He pointed out that the new investment will contribute
to raising industrial competitiveness.
Creating job opportunities and developing joint ventures
that support innovation and sustainable growth.
