Venezuela authorities announced that the country has recorded 214 aftershocks since the earthquakes.
This has complicated rescue operations and caused widespread anxiety among residents,
particularly in areas that suffered extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure.
Authorities confirmed that thousands of civil defense, military,
and emergency personnel are continuing their efforts to evacuate residents and provide humanitarian aid.
Shelters have been set up to accommodate families who lost their homes,
and medical and food supplies are being provided to the affected areas.
State of Emergency Declared
The disaster caused the collapse of dozens of buildings and disrupted electricity and communication services in several cities.
Meanwhile, authorities are working to restore essential services
