Cairo, Egypt – Artist Sherine Abdel Wahab has decided to postpone the release of her new song, despite having finished recording it and preparing for its release in recent days, in a move aimed at ensuring the work reaches the widest possible audience.
Her manager, Nasser Bajato, revealed that the song was already ready, but its release date was postponed to a later time because the public was busy following the 2026 World Cup competitions.
The reason for postponing the song
Nasser Bagato stated in a televised interview that the team preferred to postpone the release of the new song until it received sufficient attention, noting that the intense public interest surrounding the World Cup matches prompted them to make this decision while awaiting a more suitable time.
Intensive preparations for the El Alamein ceremony
On another note, Sherine Abdel Wahab continues her preparations for her highly anticipated concert at Porto Golf El Alamein next August. She is undergoing intensive rehearsals to select the song list she will perform, in addition to following a healthy and athletic regimen to maintain her fitness in preparation for meeting her fans.
“Bahriya” brings together Sherine and Hamaki
Recently, artist Mohamed Hamaki released the song “Bahriya,” a duet with Sherine Abdel Wahab, as part of his new album “Sama’ouni.” The song, written and composed by Aziz El Shafei and arranged by Touma, garnered widespread attention immediately upon its release on YouTube and various music platforms.
