Cairo, Egypt – The production company of the film Taha Al-Gharib has decided to release it during the Eid Al-Adha season, after the crew finished filming all its scenes during the past period, in preparation for starting the editing and final preparation stages before its release in cinemas. The filmmakers recently finished filming their latest cinematic work, Taha Al-Gharib, starring Hassan Al-Raddad and the artist Tara Emad, under the direction of director Othman Abu Laban.
A love story and a struggle with memories
The film revolves around an exceptional love story that defies time and memories, through the character of “Taha,” a young man who lives captive to the memory of an old love that left a deep mark on his life and completely changed its course.
Complex feelings
The events reveal the protagonist’s journey with his complex emotions, after he sacrifices much to cling to the past, before a new girl enters his life and tries to rekindle hope in his heart, creating an emotional and human conflict between them, within a framework that blends emotions and psychological details.
Film heroes and makers
The film stars a number of actors, most notably Khaled El Sawy, Mai El Kady, Tamer Hashem, Mohamed Ali Rizk, and Rital Abdel Aziz. It is based on a novel by Mohamed Sadek, who also wrote the screenplay, while Othman Abu Laban directs, and Ahmed El Sobky produces.
