Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted the Syrian capital, Damascus.

It affirmed its categorical rejection of all forms of terrorism and violence,

and reiterated its solidarity with Syria in confronting these criminal acts.

Condemnation of the terrorist attack

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed that the UAE strongly condemns this terrorist act targeting civilians.

It emphasized its firm stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,

and against anything that aims to undermine security and stability.

Solidarity with Syria

Abu Dhabi expressed its full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic.

It affirmed its support for all efforts aimed at preserving security and stability and protecting civilians.

Furthermore, it emphasized the need to confront terrorist threats targeting the country’s security and the safety of its people.

Condolences to the victims

The UAE extended its deepest condolences to the government and people of Syria, and to the families of the victims.

It also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured, and stressed

the importance of international cooperation in combating terrorism and cutting off its funding sources.

Furthermore, it affirmed its support for efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region.
