Cairo, Egypt – Director Yasser Sami has decided to film his new movie “The Guardian” in Lebanon, with Georgia as an alternative plan in case filming there is hindered, in a move that reflects his keenness to complete the work according to a flexible production vision.

Sami explained that there is an initial plan to release the film in theaters next June, provided that filming of the remaining scenes is completed, in addition to adhering to the schedule for editing and final preparation of the film.

The film belongs to the mystery and thriller genre, revolving around the negative effects of social media, through a complex mystery in which a group of young people find themselves embroiled, on a journey full of secrets and suspense to uncover the truth.
