Paris, France – French actress of Moroccan origin, Nadia Farès, passed away on Saturday, days after falling into a coma following an accident at a swimming pool in the capital, Paris. The artist was found unconscious about a week ago in a pool at a private club, and was immediately taken to the hospital.
Details of the final moments and cause of death
Nadia Fares passed away at the age of 57 in the hospital where she was admitted last Sunday, after being pulled from the water. Her daughter revealed that the cause of death was a sudden heart attack, which ended her brief struggle following the accident, despite attempts to save her in the preceding days.
A touching message from her daughter
Her daughter, Celia Chasman, announced the death on her Instagram account with a touching message expressing her deep sorrow, saying:
“Mom… this is a pain I will never get over. Every day I wake up and pray that this is a nightmare and that you are still with us. I know you fought with all your might for your children. Thank you for everything, for life, for the memories, for the laughter and the tears.”
Unfinished projects and a prolific artistic career
