Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attacks launched by the Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabian territory, affirming its categorical rejection of all acts that threaten the Kingdom’s security and stability and undermine the security of the region.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Abu Dhabi’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in confronting all threats to its security and territorial integrity. It emphasized that the Kingdom’s security is an integral part of the UAE’s security, noting that the two countries are bound by strategic relations and a shared destiny.
The UAE reiterated its condemnation of attacks targeting civilians and vital infrastructure, considering such acts a violation of international law and an undermining of efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
It also called on the international community to take a firm stance against attacks that threaten maritime security and regional stability. The UAE emphasized the importance of supporting efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote political solutions that achieve security and peace for the peoples of the region.
