Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Association of Jiu-Jitsu Professionals announced the start of the countdown to the start of the “Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu” Championship. Various competitions
The association announced the details of the tournament’s schedule, with the first day of the Masters 1, 2, 3 and 4 competitions being dedicated to those born in 1996, 1990, 1985 and 1980, respectively. Within the purple, brown and black belt categories for men, in addition to the masters category for women born in 1996.
The same day also witnesses competitions for amateurs born in 2008, 1996, 1990, 1985, 1980 and before for men and women. In addition to the categories of women born in 2008 and 1996 for the white and blue belts.
Regarding the official weighing procedures for the first day, the association explained that they will be held in two stages, the first on Thursday, May 14, from five to seven in the evening, and the second on Friday morning, May 15, from eight to nine.
The second day will be dedicated to the categories of buds, cubs, juniors and youth from 4 years old to under 18 years old, for boys and girls, in confirmation of the great interest that the UAE attaches to building a broad base of practitioners from a young age, within sustainable development programs that aim to prepare new generations of champions capable of competing globally.
