Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The UAE national pavilion witnessed a remarkable turnout at the opening of Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026.

The event was attended by official delegations and international companies specializing in the defense

and security sectors, reflecting the growing international prominence of the UAE’s defense industries.

High-level visits

The pavilion welcomed a high-level official delegation headed by Anwar Ibrahim, along with Mohammed Khalid bin Nooruddin.

The delegation was briefed on the latest innovations in defense manufacturing,

air and land systems, naval defense solutions, and cybersecurity.

The pavilion also attracted more than 1,800 visitors on its first day.

Military officials and international experts were in attendance, and delegations from several countries,

including Thailand, Serbia, Nigeria, Cambodia, and Zimbabwe, participated.

This reinforces its role as a global platform for defense cooperation and the exchange of expertise.

National companies and advanced solutions

Leading Emirati companies, including EDGE and Calidus, showcased their latest systems and technologies, attracting significant attention.

The pavilion also hosted over 52 meetings aimed at strengthening partnerships

and exploring collaboration opportunities.

The exhibition continues until April 23 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

The UAE is spearheading efforts to expand its presence in global markets

and solidify its position as a leading provider of advanced defense solutions.
