UAE – Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIZAD) has announced a joint venture with Vault Emirates to develop advanced AI-powered data centers in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
This initiative aims to support the digital economy and enhance the emirate’s technological infrastructure.
Advanced infrastructure
The project relies on a high-performance infrastructure that ensures
uninterrupted operations while providing advanced levels of security and resilience.
This supports advanced computing and artificial intelligence applications
in the UAE and contributes to the development of Dubai digital ecosystem.
The collaboration includes Schneider Electric’s involvement in providing smart energy systems and infrastructure.
This enhances operational efficiency and sustainability.
Furthermore, it improves the readiness of data centers to meet the growing demand for digital solutions.
Investments and operational capabilities
The project spans 60,000 square meters and is being implemented in two phases.
Its initial operational capacity is 29 megawatts, with plans to increase it to 100 megawatts.
This supports the growth of the data center sector and keeps pace with the expansion of artificial intelligence technologies.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni emphasized that the project reflects investor confidence in Dubai economic environment.
He also noted its alignment with the objectives of the economic agenda.
Han de Groot explained that the project represents a qualitative leap forward in supporting
the global expansion of artificial intelligence technologies and digital infrastructure in the UAE in general.
