"National Human Rights" monitors the effects of Iranian attacks in several locations in the Emirates
These visits come within the framework of the Commission's commitment to exercising its mandate to monitor human rights conditions and enhance their protection (Photo/WAM)

Abu Dhabi, UAE – A delegation from the National Commission for Human Rights, headed by His Excellency Dr. Salem Al Neyadi, Chairman of the Commission, conducted field visits to a number of sites in the Emirates of the country. With the aim of monitoring the effects of Iranian attacks, which directly violate a number of basic rights guaranteed by international human rights law.

Visits included vital facilities, health facilities and residential areas. This is within the framework of the Authority’s role in promoting and protecting human rights.

During the visits, the delegation was briefed on the efforts made to provide basic services to affected individuals. And the necessary measures to ensure community safety and enhance an effective response. In line with national and international standards relevant to human rights. In a way that ensures the protection of fundamental rights and the preservation of human dignity, within the Authority’s powers of monitoring and evaluation.

These visits come within the framework of the Authority’s commitment to exercising its mandate to monitor human rights conditions and enhance their protection at the UAE level.
