Mogadishu, Somalia – The Somali government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening economic diplomacy as a strategic tool for building sustainable partnerships with countries and international investors. This move is part of its efforts to support economic development and achieve lasting stability in the country.

Government officials explained that Somalia seeks to open new avenues for economic cooperation and attract investment in vital sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, energy, and technology. They also emphasized that creating jobs and improving the living standards of citizens are essential.

The official statement indicated that the country is working to strengthen economic relations with regional and international partners. Furthermore, there is a focus on transparency and developing a safe and stable business environment, which contributes to building trust and stimulating further investment.

Officials also affirmed that Somali economic diplomacy aims to achieve sustainable development through long-term partnerships. They stressed the importance of integration between the public and private sectors to maximize both economic and social benefits.

This step comes as Somalia continues its reconstruction efforts after years of security and economic challenges. There is optimism that the country will be able to attract more investment and build international partnerships that ensure sustainable development and stability.
