Real Madrid will begin their campaign in the new Spanish League season with a match against Espanyol on Saturday evening, as part of the second round of the competition, after their first-round match against Real Sociedad was postponed.
Real Madrid, led by their coach Jose Mourinho, will play the match at the RCDE Stadium, looking for a strong start and their first victory in their campaign to defend the Spanish League title.
The Royal team’s roster includes a number of new signings made during the summer transfer window, most notably Bernardo Silva, Yann Diomande and Ibrahima Konate, along with Denzel Dumfries, Carlos Espinola and Marc Cucurella.
According to predictions, Mourinho is considering using the following lineup against Espanyol:
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois.
Defense: Denzel Dumfries, Dean Hoysen, Ibrahima Konate, Mark Cucurella.
Midfield: Fede Valverde, Bernardo Silva, Brahim Diaz.
Attack: Arda Guler, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe.
