— ADSportsTV (@ADSportsTV) August 21, 2026 The first half saw Al-Nasr miss a penalty kick taken by Abdullah Toure, which was saved by Al-Wahda goalkeeper Facundo, before Abdullah Al-Zaabi followed up and put it into the net, but the referee canceled the goal after returning to the Video Assistant Referee technology, because Al-Zaabi entered the penalty area at the moment the kick was taken.
In the second half, Al-Nasr were awarded another penalty kick after Jadsom da Silva’s tackle inside the penalty area, and Chris Bedia successfully executed it, announcing the home team’s lead.
Al Wahda tried to get back into the game, and their coach made four substitutions at once, but Al Nasr maintained their lead until the final whistle.
Al Nasr raised its tally to 4 points, while Al Wahda remained without points after suffering its second loss, following its defeat to Ajman by a score of 3-2 in the first round.
