  • Plan to open the door to private investments

Zurich, Switzerland – FIFA has condemned what it described as a coordinated and sustained effort to undermine its president, Gianni Infantino.

FIFA reiterated its rejection of what it considers ongoing attempts to target Infantino leadership.

It also rejects any questioning of his performance and standing at the helm of the international football governing body.

Controversy escalates over Infantino’s leadership of FIFA

FIFA clarified that these actions will not affect its operations or decisions.

It also reaffirmed its commitment to the organization’s independence and its continued pursuit of its agenda.

urthermore, it emphasized its ongoing dedication to developing football globally.

FIFA’s statements come amidst escalating controversy surrounding Infantino leadership of the international federation.

They also come amidst widespread attention to the criticism

and actions targeting his administration during this period.

Plan to open the door to private investments

It is worth noting that FIFA officials offered their full support to FIFA President Gianni Infantino during a meeting held last Wednesday near Rabat, Morocco.

However, the governing body of world football found itself compelled to apologize

for the controversy sparked by the plan to open the World Cup to private investment.

This controversy had led Infantino to abandon the project. Simultaneously, calls for his resignation intensified due to his handling of the matter.
